GCN 08 Annual Event

Donate * Join * Volunteer * Support * Grants

Below are some ways that you can get involved with and support the

Giving Circles Network:

Donate:  If you are as passionate as we are about supporting the growth and impact of Giving Circles and would like to see our services to continue, we invite you to donate now to GCN.  GCN can only provide our services and support to new and existing Giving Circles from donors like you.  You can specify how you would like your donation to be used or simply support the overall mission of GCN. 

Join:  You can either join a specific Giving Circle (see the GC list) and/or join the Giving Circles Network as an individual or organizational representative.  We welcome you to join us whether you:

  • want to learn about Circles and find out how to get more engaged in Giving Circles;

  • are a member of a new or existing Giving Circle and are wanting to network, leverage resources available and enhance the impact of your Giving Circle; or

  • represent an organization interested in or already supporting GCs or shared giving via a research organization, the media, educational institution, foundation, service company or other organization.

GCN welcomes your expertise and experience in the world of philanthropy, business, government, higher education and/or other areas, in order for us as a network to continually enhance our services and products for Giving Circles (and their grantees, so as to help drive change) as well as our own capacity and capabilities as we grow.  Let us know if you would like to offer services or products to GCN directly, our members at a donated or discounted rate, or if you feel that we would benefit from your advisory assistance.

Support:  GCN welcomes the financial and in-kind support of individual philanthropists, foundations, higher education, researchers and the media, and businesses big or small.  We seek partnerships in all areas, so if you have an idea or offering, please contact us.  Presently, we could use your support for:

Sponsors Needed for:

  • GCN's 2008 Annual Networking Event (October 2008)

  • Staff Positions (presently we are 100% volunteer)

  • General Support

Grants (for Giving Circle Grantees):  GCN does not yet have a grant program available.   However, please check back here as we hope to have matching grants available in the future for Giving Circles!
