Steven Greisdorf: Mr. Greisdorf offers more than 15 years of professional experience in organizational leadership and management. With an MBA in Human Resource Management and a BS in Computer Science and Economics, Mr. Greisdorf has served as Deputy National Coordinator of Initiatives of Change, Inc., Director of Caux Initiatives for Business, Founder/Principal of Chestnut Financial Group and as a Section Chief at the International Monetary Fund. His community and volunteer experience includes such roles as Co-chairman of the Board of Directors of Solutions for Economic Empowerment and Dignity and Deacon of the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC. He has also lectured and written articles related to leadership, ethics and cultural bridge-building. He is currently teaching Third Grade at Beauvoir Elementary School in Washington, DC.

Joan Kasprowicz: For over 20 years, Ms. Kasprowicz has been active in community and volunteer programs. In 2004 she co-founded the Giving Circle of HOPE (GCH), a grant making and service providing non profit, and is also a member of the GCN Giving Circles Advisory Panel. Since its inception, the GCH has been the recipient of several prestigious awards. Ms. Kasprowicz currently serves as GCH’s co-director. Under her leadership, GCH has grown to over 100 members, issues grants in excess of $60,000 annually and has performed over 3000 service hours within the Northern Virginia area. Several other Giving Circles have been launched in the region with Ms. Kasprowicz’s assistance. She also has served on the board of other non profits. Ms. Kasprowicz holds a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition and has held positions working at medical centers, in public health as well as having taught at the University level. She co-owned a successful telecommunications firm and currently is part owner of a real estate holding firm.   

Sandy Bettger: Ms. Bettger offers 20 years of domestic and international strategic analysis, development, planning, and management experience. With an M.S. in Community & Regional Planning and M.A. in Latin American Studies, she has worked with universities (UT-Austin), non-profit organizations (ICMA), private consulting firms (including PADCO), and under contract with public entities (including USAID, HUD and the SSA) supporting socio-economic and community development issues at the national, regional and local levels. As a result of her educational background and demonstrated experience managing large and small performance-based, change management, training and technical assistance programs as well as bilingual communication skills (in English and Spanish), Ms. Bettger brings a range of expertise to her role as Executive Director and Board Member, from policy analysis and strategic planning to organizational and program design/development, implementation, performance management and continuous learning.
